The worst part of war is the waiting. Hideo's done more than his fair share of it. This latest fight with the Mox is at that ugly stage where bodies are showing up here and there and everybody around the 'hood is just waiting for the next explosion.

Hideo thinks it'll probably be a literal one, and that the gun holstered against his ribs might not be of much use...but he's trying not to think much at all. Zen. Zen and the art of drinking sake real, real slow.

It's a corner "bar," a drive-up place that'd be an easy target if the whores got their hands on more explosives. It's also the kind of place that'd be easy for them to hit if the Claws just left it alone. Hideo happens to go way back with the old guy who runs the spot, so he's making sure that it doesn't get left alone.

It's just tense, the waiting. Tension and boredom blend together and keep scraping on his nerves. A sip of sake at a time to keep them from snapping.

He scans the street traffic lazily. There aren't a ton of pedestrians, but there continue to be swarms of drones above the 'conflict zone,' vultures hoping to seize some choice footage when the Next Thing Goes Down...
