"this is...Nothing but...a scratch..."

Lucas winced slightly as the whiskey stung against the wound, his muscles tensing instinctively. But he gritted his teeth and bore through the discomfort, trusting Keziah's expertise to alleviate the pain and hasten his recovery. As the fiery liquid washed over the injury, he felt a wave of relief wash over him, the numbing sensation easing the ache that had plagued him since the moment he was shot.

He leaned back against the wall, his eyelids growing heavy as exhaustion threatened to pull him under. But he fought to stay awake, unwilling to let sleep claim him until he knew for certain that Keziah and the others were safe, their enemies vanquished, and justice served in the unforgiving frontier of Covell Canyon.

When you had done that She poured some of the whiskey over the wound to clean it out

Keziah :

Colton nodded in acknowledgment of Keziah's gratitude, a sense of camaraderie warming his heart amidst the grim situation. He watched as she gathered the items he had fetched, her determination palpable as she prepared to tend to Lucas's wounds. Moments like these reminded him of the resilience of the human spirit, of the bonds that formed in times of adversity.

"You're welcome, Keziah," he replied, his voice tinged with reassurance.

He offered her a small smile before turning his attention back to the task at hand, his thoughts already drifting to the next steps in handling the aftermath of the escape and ensuring justice prevailed in Covell Canyon.

Looking to Lucas with an exasperated sigh.

"I doubt your in any shape right now... you concentrate on that get that healed up then we will talk."

With a faint smile, Lucas reciprocated Keziah's gaze, appreciating her unwavering support in his moment of need. "I'll be alright, Just promise me you'll be careful out there,"

he said, his concern evident in his tone. He cherished her strength and determination, knowing that she would stop at nothing to ensure his recovery. As she leaned in, he closed his eyes, savoring their closeness, finding solace in their shared bond amidst the chaos surrounding them. Overhearing the Marshal he agian tries to sit up straighter adjusting his frame, "Hey...Your not doing all that....without me..."
