She parks in a little lot up the way, gets out, and shuts the door. She walks around to the passenger side and opens that door up to start loading bags onto her shoulder before she reminds herself that she's not here to work. She drops the bags back into the car, pushing them down onto the floor and tugging the jacket she wore earlier down to cover them. That will foil anyone thinking about robbing her?

It's better than nothing.

She rummages until she finds her phone and her bank card, tucking the latter into her pocket while opening the former to tap out a message to Caroline DuPont.

::I'm here. I'll text you in fifteen to tell you if he's an axe murderer or not. But I should be working. wtf am I doing?::

She slides her phone into the pocket of her buttoned-up vintage dress, and shuts the door to the 2014 Honda Civic Hybrid that has seen many better days.

She hears a clink and wanders around to the back of the vehicle and laughs as she bends at the knee so she can pick up the emblem that has once again dropped off the back of her car. What a relief. The parts that fall off her car are usually much bigger and more important than this.

People might mistake it for a Porsche until she glues the emblem back on again.

Nervous, she steps away from her car toward the restaurant, wondering what the hell she's thinking by taking time off work for something like this. Two weeks in a row. A glance back at her car and she pauses.

Oh no. "It's like a clown car."

She's parked between the lines but at a diagonal. Should she go back and move it? Try to straighten it out, or does she own the real estate between those two lines? She deliberates and then decides she doesn't have time to linger, so she leaves the car just as it is and figures people will walk by and wonder if someone arrived with an emergency and had to desperately abandon their car or something.

Who would park like that without good cause?

She approaches along the sidewalk, and sees you there as she makes her way around to the patio area access. From that small distance, she makes eye contact, though she's still too far away to speak without shouting, so she lifts a hand to wave with the little Honda symbol in her grasp, and she smiles as she mouths the word, "Hi," and she weaves her way between the tables to make her way to you.

Smiling at you. Playing a bit coy. But my eyes ate bright. Focused on yours

"Would you enjoy that?"

When you mentioned a lawyer you could see her face immediately as well as her body relax.

"Okay you have lawyer, thank God now I will stop worrying. Long as you have a good lawyer you should be good."

she nodded and when waved a hand a little

"I understand the cost of doing business, however I will tell you this now in no uncertain terms that if I ever find out that someone is trafficking woman or children, selling them exctra', then I will burn that place to the ground."

Just in that last little moment her eyes grew dark and there was a moment of sheer seriousness. You could tell she wasn't joking and that there may be a little more to the precosia' (I can't spell lol) afterall."

then everything snapped and went back to happy and calm

"Mmm so you will build a house on the beach as our own in that case? That sounds beautiful and definitely a good place to run on the beach."

she would smile and lean in giving you a quick peck

Watching you, while I keep my features perfectly schooled. A glance over to the Guards in the doorway, also watching, undoubtedly waiting to see the sack peeled up or pulled off. They particularly enjoyed that.

The snapping of latex gloves. Does anyone ever get used to that? I doubted it. My eyes note that you warm it, which was surprising considering the locale. My posture is good, back is straight, I take a few deep breaths so you can listen to my lungs. Everything should be clear.
